On 22/05/2025, the Special Weapons and Tactics army logged onto Warzone for a significant internal operation: the official retirement of longtime SWAT veteran Clay. While modest in size, the event served as both a tribute to past leadership and a critical opportunity to train and guide the next generation of SWAT.

The event commenced in the Stadium with a formation warmup and an emphasis on rapid tactic execution. Despite the small size, the unit maintained a solid pace and focus throughout a variety of word and bomb tactics. Several formations—including slashes, horizontal lines, and square blocks—were attempted and held to acceptable standards given the circumstances.

SWAT performed three room changes during the event, utilizing both the Docks and Town. Notable moments included creative tactic experimentation, fluid movement exercises such as clockwise/counterclockwise rotations, and a spontaneous tribute segment led by Clay himself.

While the event was lighthearted at times, it also carried weight. The VC hosted a generational handoff with Wonder of Drip formally stepping up as Clay’s symbolic successor. The final tactic—“CPA “”Tribunal”—closed the event on a fitting note, recognizing the legacy of Clay’s contributions while preparing the path forward.
