Frosty Frenzy I battle versus The Bastille Vanguard

Today, the UK division of SWAT logged onto Ice Breaker for our Frosty Frenzy battle against the Bastille Vanguard. Despite a scheduling miscommunication that saw some confusion on the event time, our troops were able to quickly mobilize and form up for battle. What started as a presumed no-show quickly escalated into an intense and unexpected 3v4 face-off.

Max: 3

Despite being outnumbered at points, SWAT held strong throughout the battle, engaging in tactical formations and executing room changes with impressive speed. Our formations—ranging from chaotic waterfalls to creatively named rakes and triangles—demonstrated adaptability under pressure.

While the opposing army managed to secure the win in the end, SWAT can take pride in our resilience and improvisation under less-than-ideal circumstances. The Cove was flooded with fast-moving tactics, experimental bombs, and some surprising maneuvering that caught even judges off guard. Despite a lower max, the troop energy and leadership were palpable throughout.

Special thanks to all troops and staff who showed up—especially those who logged on with little notice. We may have lost the battle, but we gained valuable insight for future tournament performances.

Fight Smart. Fight Strong. Fight SWAT.
