Wave Diminished [WV DEFEATED] – June 11th 2020
Hey SWAT!
Well today’s event was an interesting experience! If you’d have told me an hour ago that we’d have a battle (and lets face it, win) against a major army I would have laughed. But that’s what happened, and with an 18 max I must say I’m really happy with how our event turned out!
I must give a little bit of context to this event so it’s clear there are no hard feelings against WV. A couple of days ago we were forced to demote a high command member from second in command to fourth in command after repeated requests for him to stop forming/declining allyships with other armies were declined. This resulted in him DMing me, resorting to name calling and claiming other (male) army leaders with the same experience as myself were better because they weren’t ‘bossy’ (code for ‘women with opinions’). This, amongst other things, resulted in a ban for the member.
This member decided to join WV today in their raid against SWAT. The event was fun, but some tactics had a harsh tinge to them, which even WV leaders said wasn’t the aim. Overall, however, the event made for an enjoyable practice battle and with Mythic being amazing and helping to lead tactics, I must say I was able to pause and appreciate what was going on. Maybe this will be something that we do in the very near future….
To conclude, tonight was wild but wonderful, and allowed for some tentative plans for an actual practice battle to be made for after legends cup. The SWAT family, as always, was amazing and the tactics were on point, and my VC superstars Sammi and Sophie never let me down.
Thank you WV for the laugh, and we can’t wait to beat see you again soon!

Legends Cup: Round One [RESULTS]
Hello SWAT!

Today we logged on Slushy to absolutely destroy the Golden Troops in the first round of the Legends Cup. It was a complete and total demolishing, winning all three rooms with ease. Despite our lowest maximum size yet, the Golden Troops were still no match for our superior tactics and formations switches – and for that I can easily say I am proud of the SWAT Commanders (Sophy Bee & xFastx) for their contributions this generation so far, as I know this is only the beginning for these gifted individuals. I am excited to see where they will be heading next – as should you be.
For this battle, we only maxed 20 but that’s okay! It’s a no allies tournament, so 20 isn’t so bad, especially considering the beating we gave the Golden Troops in every single room.

Read on for pictures of the tournament battle!

SWAT Training Event – June 3rd
Hi SWAT
Wow. What else can I say other than just that: wow.
Today we held our second event of the week, another training session with a partial U-Lead element and it was amazing. Every event we do I don’t think I could be any prouder of us as a new(ish) army, and yet you all come and blow me away again and again.

SWAT Training Event – June 1st
Hi SWAT!
Today saw our first training event as an official army, and boy was it fun! We thought we’d mix things up and do some none traditional rooms (using docks, blank room and box dimension) and the leaders and owners really stepped up to the plate, coming up with some creative tactics to complement the fun rooms. These tactics really reminded me why we brought back SWAT, because as a smaller community we can bring up and create new jokes with ease. With a max of 22 (as shown in the picture below XD) we had an amazing time while training for future battles which will soon be announced…

SWAT’s Return Event – May 30th
After merging with DCP earlier this month, SWAT’s creator Ganger90, alongside SWAT Legend Sweater, recieved multiple messages upset with the decision. Together xFastx, Sophy Bee and Iz, decided it wasn’t time to let the SWAT family fall apart, and decided to bring SWAT back with a renewed passion for one of the greatest armies CPAL has ever seen. This new SWAT is focused on community, solidarity and family, and today’s return event shows just how big our family is.

SWAT
From the day SWAT merged into the Doritos I have received numerous messages asking for its return, and I totally get it. SWAT is my home, and it has been since 2015 – and I’m glad many of you consider SWAT home too. This is why I’m excited to announce to you SWAT is returning again – and it’s led with some familiar, up and coming names.

It’s Been A Minute…
First of all, SWAT will not be closing – and everything will still be running as normal, although there will be some leadership changes and we are looking for people to step up – I was just made aware of the situation that was going on. I have ALWAYS wanted SWAT to continue as an army even with the leaders of the past gone.
It’s been a long time since I’ve wrote a post on here, but I feel that I needed to today in order to give everybody a heads up on everything that’s going on right now. As you can see above, SWAT is not closing and I look forward for SWAT’s new generation to continue with the progress they’ve already had and due to many changes in our higher ranks, we will need new people to really step up and make a difference. I will be around as much as I can be considering the responsibilities I have right now, advising and helping to find the best fit group of people to lead the army we all love. My intentions for SWAT were for it to continue as long as it can even if I’m not the one leading it, I want to see the new generation be successful and carry the name in SWAT’s honor.
SWAT Forever /Ganger90\
